Dr Ying Shi Chang is a Specialist Oral Surgeon, specialised in managing conditions of the mouth, teeth, and surrounding structures. She completed her specialist training at the University of Sydney and is committed to delivering expert care with a gentle, patient-first approach.
Understanding that oral surgery can be a stressful experience, Dr Chang takes the time to listen carefully, answer your questions clearly, and ensure you feel comfortable and informed at every stage. She works closely with you and, where appropriate, your carers and other healthcare providers to develop a personalised, evidence-based treatment plan that suits your needs.
In addition to her private practice, Dr Chang serves the community as an Oral Surgeon with NSW Health at the Nepean Centre for Oral Health.
Dr Chang is also deeply committed to the future of the dental profession. For over a decade, she has been involved in the training and mentoring of dental students. She currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Sydney’s School of Dentistry, where she helps shape the next generation of oral health professionals.
