Dr. Faris loves the sense of giving back to people and the community. Dentistry gives him an opportunity to change people’s outlook on life, health and wellness. As he puts it – “We owe it to ourselves to better know about and look after our health, as it is an asset we cannot do without.”
Away from the chair, he has spent time in developing countries working in orphanages providing free dental care. “It has allowed me to see a whole different side of humanity, which is inspiring and challenging at the same time.”
Dr. Kirmani also is a volunteer dentist at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Dental Clinic, Allambie Heights. In June 2016, he also dedicated a day to Dental rescue at Riverlands dental for #ONE80TC residents who were also seen free of charge. Through his Volunteer efforts with Eidi Foundation and Equal Health Australia, he has also contributed towards healthcare to people in developing countries.
As the father of two young children, the time after work is about soccer and netball training with the kids. He is a keen cricketer and has played a few seasons in the Hawkesbury Cricket Association. Currently, he is exploring Yoga as a form of relaxation, as well as kayaking & bike riding.
Dr. Kirmani is best known for his non-judgmental, calm and patient attitude. To schedule an appointment with Dr Kirmani, please contact our office today at (02) 4501 7930.
