Meet Dr Faris Kirmani

Faris graduated from the University of Queensland and has been leading a team of dentists at Riverlands Dental since 2004. Popular with Richmond staff and patients, he has a caring chair-side manner and a calm, non-judgemental attitude.
Training and On-Going Dental Education
Dr Faris Kirmani, is a dentist whose career interests involve dental aesthetics, implants, and disease prevention. Having graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Science, Dentistry, he is also a member of the Australian Dental Association.
In June 2000 he successfully completed Australian Society Implant Dentistry Level 1 and 2 accreditation courses and in 2016 he became an accredited provider of SmileFast.

More recently, he has gained licences and certifications in areas such as Clear Aligner Therapy, Accelerated Orthodontics, Advanced Biomechanics, Soft Tissue Skills for Dental Implant Dentistry, Sinus Lift and Orthodontic Diagnosis.

Dr Faris completed an 18 month training programme with OrthoEd, under the mentorship of specialist Orthodontist, Dr Geoff Hall. This was done so we could serve the needs of our patients, who may need more comprehensive orthodontic treatment in the Hawkesbury area.

Every year, Dr Faris commits time to continuing education to enhance his skills in areas of health and well-being. He is passionate about aesthetics and helping people achieve their perfect smile but, like many a dentist in North Richmond, he believes that prevention is better than cure. For this reason, he is committed to helping educate people and make them more aware of the importance of good oral health.
