On the July 20th 2016, Riverlands Dental opened its doors to the residents of One80TC. One of the aims Dr Faris Kirmani had upon moving to his brand new premises was to be able to work with one of the local charities and to provide pro bono dental care for the disadvantaged.
Working with the co-ordinator from National Dental Foundation for NSW, Wendy Chin we prepared for a solid day of treatment for both our dentists: Dr Faris Kirmani and Dr Pallavi Ganesh, to carry out much needed dental care to those who otherwise would have difficulty in accessing care.
Most of the patients were in the process of long term rehabilitation which has proven to be one of the most effective ways in overcoming drug and alcohol dependancies. It was impressive to see the strides the patients had made and made the treatment even more of a pleasure.
A big Thankyou to one of our Dental Supply company for donating dental consumables and toothbrushes.
Hawkesbury Independent Magazine published an article on our efforts to action our Mission which is to offer Remarkable Care to our staff, patients & the community.
