Faris is a graduate of University of Queensland, and is the principal dentist of Riverlands Dental. He has very reassuring and solid chair-side manner. His career interests, involves Dental Aesthetics, Disease prevention, Implants, Minimal intervention Dentistry. Every year he commits time to Continuing education to enhance his skills in these and other areas. 

He is passionate about not aesthetics but also believes that people should be better informed and educated about their oral health. “We owe it to ourselves to better know and look after our health as it is an asset we cannot do without” 

Away from the chair, he has spent time in developing countries working in orphanages providing free dental care. “It has allowed me to see a whole different side of humanity, which is inspiring and challenging at the same time”. In his spare time he attempts to play cricket. Faris is married and has one daughter.
